History Center Naming Opportunities
The Greater Oneonta Historical Society has received a legislative grant for capital expenditures for $250,000. We estimate that we can complete the renovation and restoration of the interior and exterior of the building for $330,000. We need to raise $80,000 to begin the project and begin grant reimbursements.
A limited number of naming opportunities will play a significant role in GOHS meeting that goal and ensuring a sustainable future. A room will be named in perpetuity in honor of or in memory of an individual, a family, etc.
GOHS thanks the family of Jack Bresee for a room in his memory, Irene Curley for a room in memory of John Kevin Curley, to the family of Marc Bresee for a room in his honor, to Janice & Bruce Downie, and to Wendell Brown and Celeste Brown Thomas for a room in honor of their parents Foster L. & Rita S. Brown. Donations are also being accepted for the Sally Mullen Memorial Suite.
Donations may be made in cash, check, credit card, PayPal (above), and/or stock donation to GOHS' Wells Fargo account. For more information, contact GOHS president Corinne Smith (president@OneontaHistory.org), fund development chair Bill Pietraface (william.pietraface@Oneonta.edu), or Bob Brzozowski (director@OneontaHistory.org). Thank you for considering this gift which will contribute to the community for generations to come.
